BONU Key Company Management
Mr. Mark E. Lowenthal has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of BioNeutral Group, Inc. since July 2, 2012 and also serves as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Accounting Officer. Mr. Lowenthal serves as an Operating Executive at AUA Private Equity Partners, LLC. For nine years, he worked with private equity firms to identify and invest in undermanaged and undervalued consumer brands. He is a consumer product professional and has with over 35 years of consumer management experience, primarily at Revlon and Playtex. He served as Chief Executive Officer and President of European Soaps, LLC. Mr. Lowenthal served as Consumer Products Operating Partner of SJ Partners, LLC. His specific expertise is marketing, managing in financially leveraged situations, and class of trade migrations. From 1995 to 1999, he served as the President at Revlon Europe / Africa / Middle East, where he planned and implemented a major “turnaround“ in all areas of business activity, resulting in the first significant series of sales increases in a decade and a return to profitability and years of steadily declining earnings. From 1993 to 1995, he served as an Executive Vice President of Revlon Beauty Care. He ran Revlon's mass market domestic HB&A business. Mr. Lowenthal served as the President at Almay Inc., where he led it from being a minor brand into one of the nation's fastest growing cosmetic companies. At Playtex, he oversaw the expansion of the Jhirmack haircare brand from a limited salon brand to a mass market brand sold nationally. He joined Playtex, he served as Director of Haircare Products at Clairol, Inc. and also served as its Director of Marketing and New Product Development. He has been a Director of BioNeutral Group, Inc since April 24, 2012. Mr. Lowenthal holds an M.B.A. from New York University, and a B.A. in History from the University of Buffalo.
